Toby monster

Today I took part at Bobby Chiu's "Toby monster" contest at sketchoholic.com for a first time and it was really cool:) Lot of fun, very useful advice from Bobby, perfect opportunity to see what you can create in one hour for a certain topic that Bobby choses every friday...Today's topic was "Toby monster" - illustration based on the real cute Bobby's pet. This is my Toby monster..well..to be honest..doesn't look like real Toby..looks more like a cat or something...but I was proud of myself I didn't give up and in the end I got one vote :))) That makes me happy :) Looking forward next live drawing with Bobby Chiu:)

I was commissioned by advertising agency MacCann-Erickson Prague to create illustrations for one czech foundation Tereza Maxova detem. These two illustrations were created and they've chosen the second one with "flying mobile phone transformer" :)

I plan to participate in "Mail me art" project. It's a british-based project, run by Darren Di Lieto, the founder and co-editor of the illustration news portal the Little Chimp Society. The deadline is 31st January 2010 so let's create some great mail art :)

Bologna 2010

Hey..BIG news today..I was chosen by slovak Association of illustrators (with some other artists} to represent us in Bologna children's book fair this year. Well that's really great...:) It is going to be my first visit there so i am sooo curious...
